The number of really gourmet restaurants in Williamsburg is growing. But so are prices. Top restaurants include the Trellis. Blue Talon. Fat Canary. Le Yaca. The first three are excellent but noisy. Le Yaca is better for quiet conversations. Ask about Early Bird or Senior Discounts at some restaurants. William & Mary students can get discounts at many restaurants with student IDs. Check the Virginia Gazette newspaper for local attractions and entertainment. The Williamsburg Players, exhibits at the Muscarelle Museum, foreign movies and other surprises at the Kimble Theater in Merchants Square. Going to Busch Gardens to ride the new Griffon, world's scariest dive coaster, get to Busch fifteen minutes before the 10 a.m. opening so you're near the head of the line. Then head for the Griffon (very popular).
